The Denver metropolitan area has the 13th worst traffic congestion in the country, according to the Texas Transportation Institute’s annual traffic report. Each rush hour commuter in Denver suffers through 45 hours of delay each year, and this will only get worse if alternatives aren’t provided.

The FasTracks system will enable more people in metro Denver to take transit when possible, resulting in fewer vehicles, particularly single-occupancy vehicles, on roads. This will reduce traffic congestion for everyone, whether they use transit or not.
