Stopping Taxpayer Funding for Bad Development
TIF funding, which is taxpayer money, has been used to encourage bad growth -- sprawling developments on formerly undeveloped, rural lands-- rather than to redevelop blighted, contaminated lands in urban areas.

Federal Transportation Bill
Every 6 years Congress goes through the process of reauthorizing the federal law that controls the allotment of hundreds of billions of dollars in federal funds to the states for transportation funding. Congress also resets the priorities and guidelines for spending this money- like how much of it must be spent on transit instead of new highways.

Union Station Redevelopment
Denver's historic Union Station is the subject of a large-scale redevelopment project. The Station, as well as 19.85 acres surrounding it, will be redeveloped into a hub for transportation by foot, bicycle, bus, train and light rail, as well as residential, commercial and hotel development.

I-70 Mountain Corridor
In November 2007, after the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for addressing congestion on the I-70 corridor did not even consider mass transit as an option, Governor Ritter directed the Colorado Department of Transportation to enter into a conflict resolution process with stakeholders in the ongoing debate over how to ease the congestion on I-70.

The Northwest Beltway
An unnecessary superhighway has been proposed between Broomfield and Golden, supposedly to alleviate traffic congestion. However, there has never been any data to back up the claim that this superhighway would have any positive effect on congestion.
