The Boulder Camera

Coloradans know the value of rivers. Whether you are a rancher, a fly fisherman, a boater or a developer, our lives are shaped by water. That is why all of us need to speak up to ensure river protection and restoration is a priority in the Obama administration's new America's Great Outdoors initiative, an effort aimed at promoting conservation and recreation. Healthy rivers are our lifeblood, and our own Boulder Creek is a prime example. The creek, open space, associated trails and Boulder Creek Path are the heart of our city, providing opportunities for fishing, paddling, and swimming. Boulder Creek connects urban and rural communities, benefits local businesses, and enhances our quality of life.
