BP America representatives on Wednesday night outlined the company's proposed plans to increase production in certain areas of La Plata County by decreasing spacing between wells. BP, La Plata County's leading natural-gas producer, wants the state to grant it permission to increase the maximum number of wells permitted on 118 320-acre, coal-bed methane spacing units from two to four - in other words, to allow one well per every 80 acres....
