In its first update since 1984, the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is working on a plan to manage its local public lands, including 27,490 acres of property in Pitkin County.
The resource management plan addresses a total of 505,000 acres across six counties in western Colorado managed by the BLM’s Colorado River Valley field office.
