2008 marks the fifth year of CEC’s Capitol Watch program, and we have much to celebrate. Capitol Watch still thrives in the Denver-Boulder area, with regular bi-monthly meetings, and our program is growing rapidly, most recently to Northwest Colorado. So come to your local meeting and bring friends, we are always excited to welcome new faces!

2008 CapWatch Meetings Update
In January, Representative Randy Fischer joined CEC for the Denver Kick-off. He spoke to the group about his upcoming legislation, and emphasized the critical role constituent calls and emails play in influencing their representative’s decisions!
Denver CapWatch volunteers have made education and outreach calls to fellow constituents regarding HB-1280 to "Protect Instream Flow Water Rights" and HB-1312 calling for "Transportation Investment Efficiency"
In Steamboat and Craig we held two Capitol Watch educational forums to many eager volunteers! We are excited about our growth to a new part of the state.
