These free hikes have been organized by CEC and our partner organziations for interested members of the public to visit proposed Wilderness areas and other scenic locations in Colorado and Wyoming. Please join a trip to a Proposed Wilderness Area near you and learn what makes it special!

To register for the hikes, you must RSVP to the hike leader or the organization listed as the outing sponsor. If you don't, the leader won't be able to alert you if there are any changes in the departure time, meeting place, etc. You are required to provide your own equipment. For day hikes, please be sure to bring appropriate clothes and footwear, lunch and plenty of water. For overnight outings, contact the trip leader for equipment requirements.
