Restoration Weekends
Each summer, staff and volunteers have the opportunity to spend a weekend in one of Colorado's most spectacular wild places while working on a project to restore the natural character of the landscape. Projects can include closing illegal routes, picking up garbage, and other basic trail restoration projects. We provide 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts; all you need is work clothes, camping gear and a sack lunch! Carpools from the Front Range are available. Restoration Weekend dates coming soon!

Hikes
CEC also organizes hikes to proposed wilderness areas around the state. These are a great opportunity to explore some of Coloraro's most important -- and most threatened -- landscapes with an expert guide, while also getting to know other active CEC members.
