Letter to candidates for Colorado governor supporting quality oversight and protections from the dangers of oil and gas drilling.
Speak out for Stronger Federal Air Quality Standards for Oil and
EPA is seeking information from the public regarding their experiences with emissions or other air quality problems from local oil and gas drilling operations.

CapWatch makes sure pro-conservation and pro-environmental policy issues are a priority at the state legislature. Formed by CEC and our partner groups, CapWatch informs and helps you encourage your lawmakers to vote in support of pro-environment bills. CEC’s lobbyist works at the Capitol everyday to ensure the conservation movement has a strong voice, but our collective power is made vastly stronger by your participation.

You can strengthen the conservation movement throughout Colorado! By becoming a CapWatch activist or Captain, you can help us make a difference at the State Capitol by learning about the issues and getting more involved. CapWatch Activists and Captains bolster the conservation movement by writing letters to the editor, contacting elected officials, and talking with other CEC members about key legislation. Your efforts inform our legislators on how and why they should vote on current conservation legislation affecting the state.

Make sure your elected officials are voting for the environmental issues that matter to you by sending letters. As a concerned Coloradan and conservationist, writing letters to editors, state and local officials are a great way to voice your opinions and influence change.
