Coloradans who love our state's incredible quality of life and great outdoors are the heart and soul of Colorado Environmental Coalition. Their energy and enthusiasm increases CEC's ability to respond to the threats facing Colorado’s environment. Whether attending a public hearing, writing a letter to your state senator, or helping us "re-wild" an illegal tire track through a proposed wilderness area, your action creates change. Get involved today!

Volunteer
Volunteers are the roots of our "grassroots" efforts – the source of Colorado Environmental Coalition's energy and strength. There are many ways to get involved, from presenting a slideshow on wilderness to stuffing envelopes to helping on one of our wilderness restoration weekends.

Capitol Watch
Keep an eye on the State Legislature by being a part of our Capitol Watch team. CapWatch activists across the state learn about how legislation gets made, receive e-mail and phone updates on the latest news from the state Capitol, and contact their legislators to encourage their support for key environmental bills.

Get Outside
On our restoration weekends, volunteers enjoy some of our state’s finest scenery as they explore proposed wilderness areas in Colorado while completing hands-on restoration projects, such as revegetating illegal vehicle routes, cleaning up old mining debris or removing unneeded livestock fencing.

Internship Opportunities
A variety of paid and un-paid seasonal internships are available at our Denver and Grand Junction offices. Check the Internships page to see what’s available.
