This year Colorado faced many tough choices in the voting booth, but voters chose to put Colorado first! With a resounding “NO” voters sent out-of-state interests, extremists and their bad ideas packing, rejecting all of the numbered ballot measures.

The numbers:

• Amendment 60 failed by 70%
• Amendment 61 failed by 73%
• Amendment 62 failed by 70%
• Amendment 63 failed by 53%
• Proposition 101 failed by 68%

For many months CEC has been working with our coalition partners and our diverse allies to engage our members, friends and neighbors in defeating these dangerous ballot measures. In our conversations with voters across Colorado we heard time and time again that you’re worried about threats facing Colorado and that Colorado deserves better. Our efforts took us from town to town and door to door.
